Don’t freak out.
I’m not going to suggest you start clipping your nails in bed or at the dinner table.
But I have found that it’s easier to manage nail care if you don’t rely on having on set of tools because something will always go missing. This tip is gender neutral for anyone with nails.
A typical kit looks like nail clippers, a nail file and possibly small scissors to cut cuticles back. Put 1 set in your bathroom either in a drawer or the medicine cabinet, put 1 set in your desk at home or an away office and a third set in your car.

The reasoning here is simple: you’re going to need these tools at home, at work and on the go. You can break or snag a nail at any time and having a tool handy to fix it makes the problem a lot smaller.
Picking up a set of nail files is only a couple bucks and, although slightly more expensive, a good nail clipper is not that expensive. You may even have a few extras around your house that have gone lost.
