If you don’t have indoor plants, you can’t skip this challenge. Instead, go out and pick up a house plant or two!

For everyone else, set up a day of the week where you will water all of your indoor plants.

You may need first to take stock of your plants and tidy them up. Remove dead leaves, mix in new soil, migrate to sunnier locations, or repot plants in need.

Then, water each plant according to its needs and make sure there’s no spillage. If you need to protect your furniture or floors from water, pick up some cheap plant saucers (usually under $1/ea) to fit the size of the pots.

Add a reminder to your calendar to recurs so you don’t forget and let your plants die unnecessary deaths.

It could be Watering Wednesday, Moisten Mondays, Thirsty Thursdays, etc. If you have plants that need to be watered more than once a week, adjust the schedule to do it.
