I have a love/hate relationship with health tracking in bullet journal land, mostly because it comes across as disordered behavior that’s only focused on shrinking. Instead of making trackers that focus on weight loss or such, I try to write trackers that are habits focused.

In 2026, I have pages for workouts, tracking my steps, and a long list of self-care inspiration.

I’ve also recently started wearing an Oura ring and once those baseline numbers are established, I’ll use a few pages to track something there.

In 2025, I was tracking my miles cycling-which worked perfectly until my bike ran into issues and I had to shift to other workouts.

It’s my hope that by tracking different types of workouts on one tracker I won’t have pages that go unused if I change things up. Additionally, it was always a bit frustrating to see those xs when I was traveling and didn’t have my stationary bike available but was walking or hiking or otherwise working out.

With those challenges in mind, here’s the 2026 workout habits layout:

Here’s the tracker for Daily Steps, the opposite page has space to set monthly goals.

And my page for Body Notes:

Last year I used this space to track random injuries, headaches, medication I needed to take and symptoms.
