This year I realized that I finally have space in this journal to track my IRA contributions and other investments so I created the space to do so.

Since this is a new page, I’m testing it out and willing to screw it up and then improve the next time.

The pages are very simple with space for me to add contributions throughout the year. I’m not sure yet if I want to include monthly totals, since the market does go up and down often.

I’m toying with the idea of making the opposite page a graph that shows the total over 12 months so I might draft that out and add it in later.

Also in this section I’m beginning to track FSA funds which get distributed monthly and has to be used by the end of the year. I am hoping it helps me from waiting until December and then scrambling to spend a lot of money in a short period of time.

When my January funds are deposited, I’ll add that on line 1 and then deduct spending throughout the year.
